William Paul Faist Emergency Medical Services

Picture
Welcome to the William Paul Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps a dedicated group of your neighbors who live in and serve the Village of Chestnut Ridge and its surrounding communities.  In the event of a medical emergency we provide immediate primary care to you, your family, and your friends.  We volunteer our personal time, responding to your needs along with the paramedics, police, and firefighters.  We have been saving lives in the community for over 30 years.
The Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps plays a vital role in Rockland County's multi-tiered  Emergency Medical System.  Upon receiving a 911 call, the Dispatcher will determine the appropriate type of response.  In the event of a medical emergency, motor vehicle accident, or other emergency they will dispatch the police, ambulance, paramedics, or fire department as needed.
Our ambulance corps members provide 24-hour emergency medical care and transport to a local hospital responding to over 700 calls annually.  We respond with Rockland Paramedic Services, who provide advanced life support if needed.
